Profile balancing is the most common use for chin enhancement. When looking at a facial profile, the defining features are the nose and the chin. A class 2 malocclusion (under bite) can make the nose look bigger and can give the appearance of a double chin. Dermal Filler can be used to lengthen or widen the chin, improving the overall appearance of the face.

As we age, bone reabsorption occurs within the lower face. This leads to a change in the shape of the chin, which can sometimes make it look separate from the jawline. Filler can be used to blend this separation.

Aftercare instructions and advice is given on the day after every injectable treatment by one of our experts. Common side effects include swelling and bruising, and should subside after 7 to 10 days, with the end result visible after 2 weeks.
